1. General Policy
We understand that circumstances may change after you register for [Conference Name]. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for requesting a refund of your registration fee.
2. Eligibility for Refunds

Full Refunds: Cancellations received on or before 1 week before the event date will be eligible for a full refund, minus a processing fee of [insert amount or % if applicable]
Partial Refunds: Cancellations received between 6 and 3 days before the event date will be eligible for a 50% refund
No Refunds: Cancellations received on or after 2 days before the event date or failure to attend (“no-shows”) will not be eligible for a refund

3. Substitution Policy
If you are unable to attend, you may not transfer your registration to another individual at no additional cost.
4. Force Majeure / Event Cancellation
If the conference is canceled due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or government restrictions), registration fees will be:

Credited toward a rescheduled date of the same event, or
Refunded in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

5. Refund Process

Refunds will be processed within 10 business days after approval
