In this conference, the different aspects of community-acquired pneumonia are presented, including epidemiology, etiology, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, treatment and prevention.

  Doctor Porras-Pedroza is  a Medical Doctor from University  El Bosque in Bogotá, she has a Master degree in Tropical Medicine from FIOCRUZ in Rio de Janeiro, she is a specialist in Clinical epidemiology from University El Bosque in Bogotá, she is a specialist in Internal Medicine from University El Bosque in Bogotá, she has a master degree in HIV from University Rey Juan Carlos de España in Madrid, she is also a specialist in infectious diseases from State University of Rio de Janeiro. Since 2015 she has been a professor at the Sanitas University Foundation in Bogotá at the faculty of Medicine. Among her interests are continuing teaching and researching infectious diseases.
