Curaçao HPV genotype prevalence

HPV screen is a part of the cervix cancer program around the world. This is a component of secondary prevention (early diagnosis/early treatment) according to the public health system program of promotion and prevention.

With a multiple PCR test for the identification of HPV genotype, we determine the prevalence of hrHPV and lrHPV.

With this technique is possible co-infection detection in hrHPV and lrHPV.
We did an analysis by age group and comparative results with previous research done in Curaçao by Dr. D. Hooi.
