 oningen are proud to organize the 8th Post Graduate Course in Rehabilitati
 on Medicine. This congress will take place on February 16th till the 18th 
 2018.During the congress several topics will be presented concerning condi
 tions that are commonly seen in the primary care as well as the rehabilita
 tion setting on the Island of Curacao and the neighboring islands.Patients
  with Stroke as well as disorders of the feet due to Diabetes Mellitus wil
 l be presented. Both conditions are very prevalent in the primary as well 
 as the rehabilitation center and are a important cause of disability. Diag
 nosis as well as treatment options will be discussed.Compression disorders
  of the spinal cord and primarily cervical spinal cord compression also a 
 very common condition seen but undiagnosed in its early phase will be disc
 ussed. Goal is to primarily spread the awareness of these disorders so tha
 t timely treatment can be provided.Common orthopedic disorders seen in chi
 ldren as well as orthotic treatment of common orthopedic conditions will a
 lso be touched upon.Local as well as speakers from the Netherlands will be
